VATICAN CITY (Zenit) - Three years after the death of Pope John Paul II, H2Onews.org has launched a series of videos that highlight the main events surrounding the death and funeral of the Pontiff.

On the eve of the anniversary, the Catholic multimedia organization released the first video today that includes the tolling of the bell that announced the death of the Holy Father, and the announcement made by JoaquĂn Navarro Valls, director of the Vatican press office.

The minute-and-a-half video also shows clips of the millions of people who came to bid their final farewell to John Paul II.

In the following days, the series of videos will show clips from John Paul II's funeral, the conclave, and the election of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger as Pope.

H2Onews.org, together with the Vatican Television Center, is distributing this information to radio stations, Web sites and television stations worldwide.
